Terms of Use
Last updated 26 September 2026 · Spole for iPhone
The app
Spole is published by Frekvens AS, org. no. 821 787 912, Norway. By installing it you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to every App Store app.
Licence
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use Spole on Apple devices you own or control, under your Apple Account, for practising with recordings you have the right to use.
Your recordings
You add your own recordings. You are responsible for having the right to use them. Spole processes them on your device only and does not upload, store or share them anywhere. Spole cannot open content protected by digital rights management (such as Apple Music subscription songs), and we do not circumvent such protection.
Free recordings and the unlock
The first three recordings you add are free with every feature open. Adding more requires a one-time in-app purchase (lifetime unlock). Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency before you buy. Purchases can be restored on any device with the same Apple Account.
Refunds
Purchases are made through Apple. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue refunds ourselves.
Not professional advice
Spole is a practice tool. Loud sound for long periods can harm hearing; keep the level comfortable.
Liability
Spole is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Frekvens AS is not liable for indirect loss, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the unlock. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Norwegian or EU law.
Changes
We may update Spole and these terms. Material changes will be shown in the app or on this page. Norwegian law applies; disputes are heard by the courts of Norway, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection where you live.
